Watching an artist paint and create something from 'nothing' can be quite a meditative experience. It sets you into a trance, of sorts. There is a sense of satisfaction watching the brush strokes hit the canvas, the colors blending together, the paint splattering at just the right angle. While every artist has their own process and each is original, witnessing the art ‘transform’ right in front of your eyes makes you (the viewer) now part of that creative process.

    (2023) Hilary Rose Mix is the Art Director for Artesania World, a trade show focused on handcrafted goods made around the globe. Located in Downtown LA, this space provided a stage for live painting thorughout the entire event.

  • ART WEEK MIAMI

    (2022) Live painting held during a hotel day party event in Miami, FL, during Art Week Miami. The event was sponsored by Topo Chico Mineral Water and featured two artists spray painting side-by-side until the sun went down.

  • SATELLITE ART SHOW

    (2022) The Satellite Art Show was an outdoor art fair located at Indian Beach Park in Miami, FL. The Topo Chico sponsor booth featured an entire weekend of art activations and live paintings including artwork by Hilary Rose Mix, the only artist from the Los Angeles area.
